For the past four years Volkswagen has been proud to be an official partner to the New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC), and behind the drive of our Olympic athletes in their quest for gold in Rio De Janeiro.
New uniform revealed

Meet our Ambassadors
This year we have the talented hockey player Simon Child, along with two members of the sailing team, Blair Tuke and Peter Burling, as official Volkswagen New Zealand ambassadors.
Simon made his debut into NZ hockey at only 16. Since then he has quickly secured his place amongst our best strikers. Find what drives Simon in this video from the NZ Olympic team Facebook page. He talks about is his tips for staying motivated, and his goals for this years games.
Peter Burling and Blair Tuke made history at the 2012 Olympic’s by winning New Zealand’s 100th medal. They were awarded the silver medal in 49er sailing (men’s skiff). At just 17, Burling was the youngest sailing competitor at those Olympics and the youngest member of the New Zealand Olympic team that year.
