The plug-in hybrid drive of the Audi A5 Avant e-hybrid combines the strengths of an electric motor with the power of a TFSI combustion engine.
Cover up to 101 kilometres1 purely on electricity. Thanks to a wide range of options for charging at home and on the road, you can complete everyday journeys and short trips without using the combustion engine.
The characteristic rear end defines the sporty, elegant Avant design that is enhanced by exterior S line. Create accents with the black exterior package, which includes Audi rings in anthracite grey.
Choose from up to eight different digital light signature pairs for your own personal expression. The various light designs of the digital daytime running lights of the matrix LED headlights and the LED rear lights pro can be set on the MMI.
Experience the new, digital interior with the MMI panoramic display and MMI front passenger display. Other features include the optional heads-up display and the Audi assistant.
In combination with the lithium-ion battery, the electric motor provides sporty support for the 2.0-litre TFSI engine. The engine and motor combined can deliver an output of up to 220 kW} in the A5 Avant e-hybrid.
On the MMI, choose between the all-electric EV driving mode and the hybrid mode, comprising the electric motor and internal combustion engine. In hybrid mode, a slider can also be used to set the required target battery charge percentage.
Audi, in partnership with ChargeNet, provides easy access to a growing network of hundreds of public charging stations across New Zealand.
The e-tron charging system compact is available for home charging. Charging with alternating current (AC) is possible with a maximum charging capacity of 11 kW.
The Avant silhouette with flat sloping rear window meets muscular proportions. The Audi A5 Avant e-hybrid thus conveys a powerful and dynamic impression. The charging flap integrated into the side is a subtle indication that this is a plug-in hybrid.
With the matrix LED headlights and the LED rear lights pro, you can choose from eight different light signature pairs that set standards with highly adaptive light distribution. Choose your favourite using the myAudi app or on the MMI.
The dynamic light scenarios of the coming home/leaving home function make a progressive statement. The continuous light strip across the entire rear end is particularly impressive.
The Audi virtual cockpit plus (11.9-inch) and the MMI touch (14.5-inch) are integrated into the driver-oriented curved MMI panoramic display with OLED technology. The MMI front passenger display (10.9-inch) enables passengers to assist the driver with navigation or access entertainment functions.
With the optional Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System, 16 loudspeakers fill the interior with 3D sound. These are supplemented by two additional loudspeakers in the driver head restraint and two in the front passenger head restraint. These create personal sound zones for discreet phone calls, subtle navigation instructions or a fascinating 3D experience.
