With a maximum electric range of 143 kilometres* and the option of charging at home, you can complete many of your everyday trips in all-electric mode. Thanks to recuperation, the system can recover electrical energy during the journey.

You decide which of the three manually selectable driving modes to use: all-electric driving (EV), primary use of the combustion engine to conserve battery charge for electric driving later (Battery Hold), or the efficient interplay of electric motor and combustion engine (Auto Hybrid).
The e-tron charging system compact is available for home charging. Charging with alternating current (AC) is possible with a maximum charging capacity of 11 kW*.
*Charging capacity depends on the type of mains connector used, the country’s voltage and on the number of available phases of the power network as well as the customer’s own domestic installation. It may therefore be lower in some cases.
The Audi A3 Sportback TFSI e uses DC charging with up to 50 kW* and thus allows convenient travel with electric drive. This means that a battery that has dropped to 10% can be charged to 80%** again in less than half an hour.
