What is Audi Cover Cost Free Motoring Plan? The Audi Cover Motoring Plan is exclusive to the original Audi owner. For the first 3 years (unlimited kilometres) scheduled services and replacement parts as detailed in the vehicle service schedule are supplied free of charge.
What does the owner pay for? The Audi owner pays nothing for the services provided by Audi Cover Motoring Plan. The owner is responsible for all expenses that do not fall within the scope of Audi Cover Motoring Plan, for example petrol, road user charges, tyres, vehicle licensing and insurance.
Audi Cover Motoring Plan compliance and owner’s responsibilities Owners must maintain their Audi in accordance with the vehicle service schedule as supplied with their Audi Owner’s Manual. All scheduled maintenance work must be performed by an authorised Audi Dealer or approved Audi Service Centre. Failure to perform any one service will automatically deem Audi Cover Motoring Plan to be revoked.
What to do if you should require service assistance? Authorised Audi Dealers or and approved Audi Service Centres are strategically situated throughout New Zealand so that you will never be far from help. To locate the nearest authorised Audi Dealer or approved Audi Service Centre, simply refer to the Audi Dealer Network list in the Vehicle Owner’s Handbook wallet, on www.audi.co.nz or by phoning the Audi Cover Assistance toll free number. Upon arrival at the respective Authorised Audi Dealer or approved Audi Service Centre, your Audi will be repaired free of charge provided the service schedule is made available for inspection and the vehicle is within the 3 year period. It is not necessary to delay any repairs until the next scheduled service.

With our compliments.For the first three years from delivery, uninhibited by the kilometres travelled, all scheduled maintenance and genuine replacement parts for that service are paid for by Audi Cover. All you pay for are petrol, tyres, non-scheduled services and government regulatory charges. An Audi Cover card will be mailed to you which allows access to all the Audi Cover Assistance services. Audi Cover Assistance is obviously worth a substantial amount of money when service costs for a modern, sophisticated vehicle over three years is taken into consideration.
Assistance Your Audi Cover Assistance card has a toll free 0800 number, which provides help anywhere in the country, any time of the day or night. If your Audi is immobilised for any reason, even through no fault of the car such as lost keys, ran out of fuel or a puncture, Audi Cover Assistance will quickly provide help. Warranties Naturally, with Audi’s quality reputation, every Audi has a comprehensive warranty package associated with the vehicle to complement Audi Cover Assistance.
BMW vehicles sold new in New Zealand from 01 January 2014 are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 5 years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever milestone is reached first.
The warranty will commence on the date of delivery of the vehicle to the purchaser or the date that the vehicle is registered in the name of the purchaser (whichever is earlier).
The warranty period for the bodywork is twelve years, and for the paintwork is three years.
The BMW New Vehicle Warranty is able to be transferred to subsequent owners. The vehicle will be covered under the terms of the warranty for the balance of the existing warranty term.

DSG Gearbox Warranty This DSG Gearbox warranty (“the DSG Warranty”) provides 5 year/150,000km (whichever comes first) coverage from the Warranty Commencementdate* for DSG defects** within the original DSG Gearbox of Qualifying Vehicles***.
Subject to the terms of this warranty, Volkswagen New Zealand (European Motor Distributors Limited) will, through an authorised Volkswagen Dealer, rectify by repair or replacement, any DSG defects in any Qualifying Vehicle, that have occurred during the relevant warranty period.
Damage to electrical/mechanical components associated with the DSG Gearbox will also be covered by the DSG Warranty when the damage is solely and directly caused by DSG defects.
Associated controls/systems, adjacent components, defects caused by improper care/use, or vehicle modification or tuning and failure to report defects in a timely manner are not covered by the DSG Warranty.
The DSG Warranty is subject to the terms and conditions of the Volkswagen AG international warranty and the Volkswagen New Zealand warranty.
Volkswagen New Zealand reserves its rights to decline coverage under the DSG warranty if the vehicle would not be eligible for warranty repairs as a result of the exclusion provisions contained within those warranties.
The DSG Gearbox warranty is effective from 12 June 2013 and may be withdrawn at any time.
This warranty does not apply to DSG defects repaired prior to 12 June 2013.
Volkswagen New Zealand (European Motor Distributors Limited) may decline warranty claims which are not intended to be covered.
*Warranty Commencement date: The DSG Warranty commences from the vehicle delivery date as recorded in the Volkswagen AG database.
**DSG defects: DSG defects are manufacturing or material defects of a DSG Gearbox or components contained within the DSG Gearbox but do not include routine maintenance or updates.
***Qualifying Vehicles: The DSG Warranty applies to Volkswagen vehicles with manufacturer-installed 6 or 7 speed DSG transmission units, whether the vehicle is New Zealand new or imported, but excludes:
a. vehicles imported by an importer other than European Motor Distributors Limited where that vehicle is owned by the Importer or a Motor Vehicle Trader; and b. vehicles which have had modification, servicing or repair work done in a manner not approved by Volkswagen New Zealand, including but not limited to changes to original equipment and the fitting of non-approved parts or accessories. c. Vehicles owned by an owner who holds mechanical breakdown insurance or similar which covers the DSG defects.

POWER CUBE: the fourth and/or fifth year warranty
POWER CUBE is a full warranty that offers the equivalent coverage as the manufacturer’s warranty; It lasts one year and can be repeated for further year; it can be purchased only if the additional year of warranty has been subscribed to, or the vehicle has a commercial warranty coverage of thirty-six months from the time of purchase
POWER NORMAL: the sixth year warranty POWER NORMAL is the Ferrari Pre-Owned Warranty offered for cars for which the manufacturer’s warranty has expired and which are six years old or under; The warranty can be renewed and so the period of cover can be up to four years; It covers the main areas of the car: engine, transmission, trim and electrics.
POWER TRAIN: the 10th year warranty This warranty only covers the gearbox and the engine and is available for cars under nine years old, for which the manufacturer’s warranty has expired. Power Train is a flexible warranty and so may be purchased at any time.
However, there are two scenarios: Purchase between expiry of manufacturer’s warranty and sixth year (Option 1); Purchase between the seventh and ninth year of the car’s life (Option 2). The Power Train Warranty can be repeated several times to cover the entire period of possible coverage. However, its purchase excludes the purchase of any other successive warranty product. However, by purchasing the various Ferrari Pre-owned Warranties in succession you will be able to cover your car for a period of up to 10 years.
Note: The Ferrari Pre-owned Warranty Programme applies only to Ferrari cars with Warranty commencement dates of nine years or under, excluding special and limited edition series (the F50 and Enzo Ferrari). Please also remember that all new Ferrari sold worldwide are with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.

TECHNICAL INSPECTION Before any Ferrari can be declared Approved, it must first pass a series of extremely rigorous technical checks and controls drawn up by the Factory. This complete and detailed Ferrari-approved inspection is carried out by technicians that have trained at the factory and who are specialised in evaluating Ferraris of all types.
The inspection involves no less than 190* different checks covering everything from the running gear to the electrical systems, bodywork and interior. It concludes with a test-drive by a professional driver. Any defects that emerge will be repaired using original Ferrari spares only, to ensure that the car fully complies with Maranello’s extremely strict safety, performance and reliability standards too.
Once a car has passed the technical inspection, a written evaluation is drawn up and will be presented to any potential new owner as proof of the controls and checks carried out. A Ferrari Approved technical inspection includes:

PROVENANCE AND PREPARATION Each Ferrari Approved car is meticulously prepared and presented for sale to Ferrari’s own extremely high exterior and interior standards. The exterior paintwork and interior trim and upholstery are carefully checked. If any repairs are required, only the finest quality materials will be used, of course. At the end of each inspection, a detailed list of the checks and repairs carried out to allow the car join the Ferrari Approved Programme is placed in the glove compartment.
WARRANTY AND ASSISTANCE A Ferrari Approved has the advantage of a Ferrari warranty up to 24 months in Europe and 12 months in the rest of the world. This warranty covers the cost of numerous spare parts and cost of work of the principal repair works. Excluded are parts included in ordinary assistance, such as tyres, brake pads and disks, or parts, which have to be exchanged due to normal wear. A Ferrari Approved has an unlimited mileage warranty of two years. The warranty covers the costs of defects and reparations, including spare parts and repair works. This means the Porsche Approved Warranty applies worldwide. It is effortlessly administered in every Porsche Centre, covering all components for 100 % of the labour and parts. There is never an excess to pay in the event of a claim and nor is there any mileage limit once the policy is activated.
Like your car, we want to ensure your Porsche Approved Warranty also stands for reliability and trust. This means openly stating what will not be covered under a Porsche Approved Warranty and why. As a Porsche ages, it can undergo visual and acoustic changes without affecting its functionality (e.g. cracks in the leather). Also certain parts are subject to ageing and natural wear.
